Re: after upgrade to ibex, eeepc won't start anymore! :(

hello! i've now freshly installed ubuntu hardy, and everything seems to work
better than ever before, even wi-fi. wow.

the only thing that still bothers me a lot is, when i plug in my usb device,
it's not automatically mounted, like on my kubuntu machine, and this hasnt
got anything to do with /etc/fstab, because on my kubuntu machine i havent
edited the fstab file either and it still recognizes and mounts my usb stick
automatically. hmmm

when i plug it in, it says it cant mount it because it requires root rights.
so eventually i have to mount it manually through the terminal. pain in the
arse. :(

do you have any advice for that to make my life with my eeepc more
pleasurable :D

thanks a lot :)
