The mailing list is in no way a bug tracker, you should just file bugs for anything you marked with '-' (if you can't find any existing reports)

This is to be expected, when gnome-shell starts it asks gtk for the scale factor. If this fails (which it does for some reason when starting the
ubiquity session) scaling is disabled (set to 1). This means the shell/clutter widgets are not scaled, but fonts and gtk widgets presumably will be.

The installer is 100% the same as Ubuntu, the only difference being that we run it in a gnome-shell session. File bugs against ubiquity.
