This is odd, g-s-d and g-c-c are unlikely to cause suspend issues, especially since xrandr code is now in mutter, which has been in 14.10 for
some months now.

Could you re-file that bug (after reproducing issue), to get fresh/current logs etc.

This is generally caused by DRI/3D graphics being broken, again it would be useful to see fresh logs of this issue. It seems that sometimes
fallback to software rendering fails in this case.
