This is odd, g-s-d and g-c-c are unlikely to cause suspend issues, especially since xrandr code is now in mutter, which has been in 14.10 for
some months now.

I have filed the bug 3 days ago but I have to add the X logs to complete them. I'll do that ASAP.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1377109

I have tried installing gnome3-staging ppa just to test if the new g-c-c 3.14 version have fixed this but after activating it I cannot get a
usable desktop because gdm cannot start and if I use lightdm to start gnome-shell I cannot get a usable desktop because the screen remains black.
This is generally caused by DRI/3D graphics being broken, again it would be useful to see fresh logs of this issue. It seems that sometimes
fallback to software rendering fails in this case.

For now I'll stay in GNOME 3.12/Ubuntu 14.10 without PPAs in order to report bugs, this way everyone can have it clean of bugs.

After that I'll start using U-G+gnome 3.14 because there are some bugs that needs to be fixed that prevent to use it as a daily OS.

Again. Thanks for your effort!!
