The easiest way to route a Pulseaudio stream to a specific sound card is 
to do the following:

1) Install the pavucontrol application (sudo apt-get install pavucontrol)

2) Start the stream

3) Start the pavucontrol, select the correct tab, your stream should be 
listed there, and there is a dropdown box you can use to reroute it.

It will then remember your previous choice (in ~/.pulse/* ), so you'll 
only have to do this once.
