There is a pretty good program for logging. Xlog. This is Unix, we do
things differently. You don't use one program. You use a group of
programs that communicate with each other in a cooperative way.
Xlog does that.
I would like to see an API come out for this. Say, a dbus standard for hams.
I do CW contests using eepkeyer, cwdaemon, Xlog, Xdx, eeclock, and
hamsolar. I may have to do a tutorial on how I set up for a contest.
Keep in mind that writing these big programs takes a LOT of time.
Committing to that sort of time hog and doing it for free is not
something that appeals to me.
