hi Pavan
thanks for your interest...
in bangalore most of us have internet connectivity.... when we are
free we can translate.. like wise conduct meeting,workshop and
seminars...how ever if some one starts
working for FOSS/Opensource he will be able to be familiar with the
software...this will help them in understanding opensource..and bring
them out of the clutches of MS.
i bileave people from FOSS will sure help us in this/we can work with
them also. They are experts in conducting seminar..

See these are lot of Govt schools which are Kannada medium and use kannada
These can help them in the latter stages of the project... This needs
to be detailed out.
.when theres a vacation or a holiday.. on ur free time u can
contribute to make the process happen faster...........
Organising a seminar in your collage ...including your
friends....educating others.... its like we are not alone growing we
take the  community along with us.... u have Educational ubuntu for
eduction purpose.. this will save money for collages... there are lot
of NGOs.
We will get a feedback what the OS to do in Kannada...

@Sai Rajan :- thanks for ur open hearted feedback.. its nice u thought
in a different way ...a few of my thoughts :---I think as a kannadiga
we need to contribute to our language.
and make it success.... most of the govt applications are in Kannada!
... there will be lot of people who will like this... because Kannada
is day to day language outside Bangalore.
i believe one day people will appreciate this good work.. See this
translation was started some were round 2007 or before that and still
most of them are contributing to it...and lot of people are joining
in...Thats a good sign that there are people who are interested...
i belive this should convince you .. please be free to share your thoughts.....


Thanks for your suggestions...looking forward for some more once this
festival season is over....

creation of the dictionary for IT terminology i did not get any input
how we can make it happen or any alternate plans..ideas???
