The manual doesn't need to give those particular instructions, but it
could at least tell interested readers where to look.

for more information on those types of connections, please see the documentation for Evolution, found by choosing Contents from Evolution's Help menu.

If you're feeling particularly generous, you could even write that
chapters 6 and 7, respectively, are the relevant sections.
