[Bug 677293] Re: non existant buttons in lines 119 and 133

I have checked this against Lucid and Maverick.

In Lucid, the Text should be "Apply" as you suggest. However the English
Manual is frozen for changes, so it will not be fixed.

You can make the changes in translations.

I also checked Maverick. The text is now "Log in", so the manual is
correct for this version.

Marking as "Won't Fix".

Thanks
Chris

Status in Ubuntu Manual: Won't Fix

Bug description:
In the following lines :

Adding an account
Located in ./default-apps/using-instant-messaging.tex :126
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu-manual/lucid-e2/+pots/ubuntu-manual/pt/843/+translate
(...) Finally click on the \button{Log in} button to save and verify your settings.

Editing an account
Located in ./default-apps/using-instant-messaging.tex :133
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu-manual/lucid-e2/+pots/ubuntu-manual/pt/845/+translate
(...) Once you have made your changes, click button{Log in}.

Where it reads "button{Log in}" and "button{Log in}"

It should read "button{Apply}" in both lines because they can't be found in that particular window of Empathy version 2.30.2 .

This is not a big deal because in the previous sections the text is correct for the empath version it seem to be related to .

But then again with some types of accounts (that spread out the windows with more options) this can be confusing to newbies.

Note to self : the apply button does in did log in the account ... more than one bargains for ! a 3 in one ! ;) :)

Question : Is it alright for me to correct the situation in my translation ? or shall I say: to "squash" the bug ... translating it with the proper option?

Thank you all !
