[Bug 1431977] Re: Downloads folder is not created under Home folder (user)
This looks like a small hiccup during installation. The manual is
correct and still up-to-date in regards to the use of the ~/Downloads
folder in Ubuntu. So I'll change the status to Invalid.
> How to create the Downloads folder
1. Open your Home folder (in that screenshot, you'd have to go one
folder up)
2. Right click on an empty space and choose "Create New Folder"
3. Change the name of the new folder to Downloads
4. Go into the Downloads folder (double-click it)
5. In the menu, click on Bookmark -> Add Bookmark, which should make the
Downloads folder appear in the left-hand frame under Places. The menu
will appear when you hover your mouse on the very top of your screen
while you are inside your Downloads folder.

No Downloads folder was created. All files are downloaded in Home folder. But the browser downloading target is "Downloads".
