At the moment we are using .odt for the manual, and some changes are being
overwritten because the merging is not set up correctly. Hopefully next week
I should have it all changed to docbook so we can avoid merging and
overwriting.

For the meantime, I have written a quick readme.txt and changelog.txt so we
can keep track of changes and merges, these two files are now in the bzr
branch on the latest revision, revision 5.
