Re: [Bug 506498] Re: Chapter 5 -> "Synaptic Package Manager" This is removed from lucid.

 

Alpha-2 is coming out today, so make sure to check that out.

It says that it is set to be an ALTERNATIVE to Synaptic, no a
replacement (yet). Even then, I'm sure synaptic will be included in
the repositories and the fact that it is a major way of installing
packages from Ubuntu 4.10 to present, it probably should be included
in the manual.
