That sounds quite a bit different from "someone who might have used
Windows or a Mac before" ;)
I think everyone in a position to contribute to the manual with anything
beyond feedback can most likely not be considered part of the target
audience, not anymore.

Thank you for the suggestion. I agree that it's very friendly, brings an
emotional component and is very inclusive ... but too inclusive, I
think, as our document is in fact not for everyone. We should not appear
unrealistic in our ambitions.
This reminds me of the Ubuntu slogans: "Linux for the rest of us" (at
least often associated with it, if not originally) and "Linux for human
beings".
