Re: Releasing translated editions

Hello.

Thanks! I've added you to the translation editors list.

Here's a quick status report on the Asturian translation:
* Nearly one third of the manual has been translated to Asturian.
* The Asturian translation does compile correctly. There are a couple
warnings that I'll help you fix soon.
* There are still 10 screenshots that need to be taken in Asturian.

The next step is to continue translating the text into Asturian and
collect the remaining screenshots.

Right now the focus for translators has been on lucid-e1. The second
edition (lucid-e2) will have a lot of string changes, not because of
major content changes, but due to my rearranging the .tex code. (I've
moved the margin notes around in the code so that they better align
with the main text. The unfortunate side effect of this is that when I
combine two separate strings (margin note + main text paragraph) into
one string (containing both), Launchpad will consider this as a new
string and likely won't recognize that it's a combination of two
separate strings. This doesn't, however, prevent translators from
copying and pasting the strings from the lucid-e1 translation to the
lucid-e2 translation.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Thanks again for volunteering to be an editor and helping to translate
the manual into Asturian!
