Message #03291
Public draft available
Hello, everyone.
I've posted a public draft of the manual to
<http://ubuntu-manual.org/proofread/gswu1204/en>. I'd like to have
everyone's help in proofreading the manual. Please pass this link
along to anyone who would like to assist us. (Please only use the
above link and not the direct crocodoc link. I will be uploading new
revisions of the manual periodically as we fix errors. The
ubuntu-manual.org URL will always point to the latest draft whereas
the crocodoc URL will point to the original draft only.)
You can annotate the manual directly on the website. This is handy for
marking spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors.
For larger bugs that may require some discussion, you can file a bug
report at <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-manual/+filebug>.
Our style guide is available at
<http://files.ubuntu-manual.org/style-guide.pdf> for those who are
interested in some of the more detailed rules and conventions that we
follow for formatting.
If you have any questions, please email the Ubuntu Manual project's
mailing list at <ubuntu-manual@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>.
We will be incorporating your edits and suggestions over the next few
days and produce a final draft on June 27. The manual will be
published on our website at <http://ubuntu-manual.org> and available
in print via <http://lulu.com> on June 30.
Thanks for your help!
