Hi Team,

I would like to apologise as I have been without a machine for a long 
period of time until now where I have had to borrow a machine to send 
this message which resulted in me falling behind. My laptop burnt out 
and after digging out my old desktop, after a few days of use the hard 
drive died. I have now ordered a new pc which will be with me tomorrow I 
shall commence with the completion of the assigned chapters.

I do have one question though, after research I could not find the 
answer to the question, "will ubuntu run under


 HP Compaq 2934

The above model comes with Windows 8 and I really do not want the 
horrible interface to grace my monitor.

Any reply is very much appreciated
