  Assuming you've already installed Texlive, pulled the Trusty branch, 
downloaded the French translation template and put it in the po folder 
as fr.po, the command is: make ubuntu-manual-fr.pdf

> - Do you publish some "nightly" of the PDF version for french flavour ?

  No "nightly" release :-).
