I've just tested latest LightDM release (v1.9.8) in an openSUSE 13.1
installation, and I can say basic multiseat now works out of box with our
patched xorg-server, thanks to Alberts Muktupāvels latest contributions
(Wasn't he in our group? Why did he leave us?). There's no need to port our
LightDM patches, except if we still want to pass -sharevts for non-seat0 X
servers for convenience.
Thus I think we can now focus on completing the automatic multiseat support
in LightDM after trusty release. Maybe these patches for KDM could be a
good start point:
