Message #00454
Splitting outputs on one video card into 2 seats?
Hi,
I'm not sure where to ask this question, so I am posting it to your list.
(I can't post to "Answers", or I would have posted it there)
I have an Asus Chromebox running Ubuntu 14.10 which has an Intel video card
with an HDMI and a DisplayPort port and 4 usb ports.
The video card is able to power both video outputs simultaneously, but I
would like to split them into seats so that input can be segregated from
the displays so I can run one seat with MytthTV/XMBC and other with a
monitor for doing work.
My question is whether it is possible to assign outputs on the same video
cards to different seats? If so, how do I go about configuring that?
(lightdm.conf w/ 2 seats each to different xorg.confs? what do I do in
each? Or 1 xorg.conf with some extra tags?)
Hopefully you can point me in the right direction.
Cheers,
-G
