I recently went through and got a package listing prior to moving my
stuff to a new HD via issuing the following command:
dpkg -l > selections.txt
A few quick questions:
Is there any way that I can do an apt-get to install from a text
file?
Would I have been better to just back the whole system up onto my
USB and then restore - and if so, what program is the best (I've
heard even Acronis will backup Linux now)
Thanks in advance
