These write-ups should be sent to the Maori Translation Team and NZ
LoCo mailing lists, so the widest number of interested people can
follow along and offer advice or help.

Remember that contributions to Launchpad are considered BSD-licensed
and contributors are expected to sign the Ubuntu Code of Conduct
(people will be prompted to do so when they create a Launchpad
account).
I'll add any new contributors as soon as they submit a request to join
the translation team (I'm not an admin on the NZ LoCo team, but I'm
sure they'll be happy to see new members).

It would be good to identify and prioritise the appropriate modules. I
can do that easily enough.

The Maori Language Commission has a technical word list (they provided
me with a paper copy in 2003ish) and likely some guidelines. I'd
encourage you to contact them to see if we can get an electronic copy
of that word list.

Can you restate the question with more context? Do you mean seeing the
translations in use on your local computer, or generating the language
pack, or something else?

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MaverickReleaseSchedule shows the language
pack translation deadline on September 30.
