[Bug 1078498] [NEW] /debian/patches are used only to modify upstream files
Public bug reported:
The guide should tell that /debian/patches and $ edit-patch should only
be used when trying to modify upstream source, for changes in the
/debian/ dir they're usually made directly, otherwise, you may find
errors like this one:
