Re: Independent OEM ADZERO
I agree with that statement, But look at where Canonical wants to head into. I understand being a opensource OS developer that what they put out will be open source . On a marketing stand point it is also smarter for them to keep things on the "DL" (Down Low) until they actually have the product worked out or at least have a test subject. I think the biggest thing we can do for now as users and enthusiests is to talk to OEM's, Developers and publishers alike. Get them to sit down with Canonical and get the ball rolling. 2012 is going to be a massive year for Canonical with Ubuntu TV , Ubuntu for Android, Steam coming to Linux (Sitting down with Canonical talking about how to optimize Steam and games for Ubuntu.) , EA coming to UCS 2012. Aside from contacting OEM's, App Developers and publisher Keep feeding in stuff we see in the mobile market that Canonical could use with thier own twist or things that could be innovative to help sell the product.

I wish someone from Canonical could give some more information to go from. The motivation to do something is there, now the willingness of the corp. to let us in the scope about what is going on. I "know" we can make mock-ups for what we'd want to see and that hardware isn't really relevant at this moment. But we would like to see something we could hold in our hands in all good time.
With metta, Chris
P.s.: I love how that phone looks, should definitely be considered by Canonical.

No they have not released any specs yet for the phone. I think this would be a great chance if Canonical gets something going with them and give some input for the Ubuntu Phone.
