Anyone want to work on a port of the Ubuntu Phablet OS to something
that will run on desktops? I'm investigating options, reviewing the
android layer from Cyanogen 10.1, and waiting for the porting guide
to
come out tomorrow.

Assuming my gnexus is already unlocked and I made a full backup via

If you already have ClockworkMod Recovery, you can use the two zip
files, the device specific and the phablet one, and deploy both zips
from recovery.
This way you don't loose any data (well the recovery image if you
want
it :-))
Or just go the normal path. The recovery image flashed is pretty
much
useful for other images as well.
Cheers
Sergio.
