If you have phablet-tools, you can configure it from ubuntu and then do
phablet-network-setup -n /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/[NM_file]
where NM_file is the configuration file for the connection.
I haven't tested WPA2 Enterprise myself, so if might involve checking
the syslog.
