First off I was stupid and didn't realize that It had no Mobile internet data (Oh how I miss it sometimes), But I stayed on and decided to try and keep it for one week, one of the first things I noticed was that the Facebook, GMail and twitter applications were the websites and they worked reasonably well out of the box (Only thing was that they kept detecting it as an iPhone/iOS Device). I installed SSH and was having fun doing stuff via terminal, shortly I had two youtube videos downloaded onto the device and could watch them completely fine. I shortly hit into my first block of all of the predone contacts but then found out how to remove them.

I also noticed that altough the battery usage has been slightly better due to no 3G the fact that there is no auto sleep programmed in yet drained the battery down due to the fact that I was used to the auto sleep & lock.

Hi Ryan,
Thanks for taking the time to try out Ubuntu Touch and provide your feedback. While it is only a tech preview its still valuable to try it out as your primary phone to see where it's lacking. 3G data and auto-sleep are both must-have features as you've pointed out for sure. Please know they're on our list and we're working on them!

We'll certainly announce when they land so you can give it another spin. Thanks again,

Bill
