Just a request from the side-line: please add a RPN mode, the way that
HP calculators do it. Entering formulas that involve a lot of
sub-expressions is just so much more natural when you can evaluate
them separately, leave them on the stack and then process them further
by popping them off the stack. E.g. the stationary example would then
be entered as
1.05
<ENTER>
5
×
10.00
<ENTER>
7
×
28.79
<ENTER>
8

Essentially it's reading the formula "inside-out", much the way you do
when you think about it. There's no need to remember to put the
brackets in the right places, no need to plan ahead. The landscape
view could display the expressions that lead up to this value on the
stack, so it's easier to remember what it contains. Long expressions
would need to be abbreviated, of course, but could be
expanded/scrolled through by the user when tapped or swiped.
Cheers
Michael

Hi Dalius, everyone, and good morning!
I guess you've all been looking at calculators over the weekend!
I've just caught up with my mail and we will go through these
threads later today. We'll answer these questions in a reply as
soon as we can (promise).

Thanks for other ideas. We will definitely use something + I
believe designers are reading as well.
