I think that should be one of the goals, once desktop mode is ready and the app gets compiled.

    At moment I use Jitsi in ubuntu
    12.10 for communicating. Could I work in Ubuntu Phone Desktop mode
    somehow with the same running chats and buddy list as the build-in
    client telepathy?
