Re: [Design] Design weekly

Hi Calum,

Yes, exactly what I wanted to put across - User Scenario . 🌂

Glad, I could be of assistance. It is like partial AI ( or atleast the feel of it ) for user and if its Rainy Day :: nearby app - if any can spool information from Ubuntu Weather app to suggest coffee shop ( suggestive or from user prior preference which ever takes priority ).

Thanks & Regards
Jskandhari

Hey Jskandhari,
Great thinking, that's the direction we want to go in, very much fitting with the "can I wear the same coat as yesterday?" user scenario. I think that's a really useful! There's a very small pair of sunglasses in that sketch; although it could stand out more!!!

While I went through the design sketch. It came to my mind can we have suggestive pointers - such has If its Sunny SPF30 would be advisable, or if its Rainy Rain-coat or if windy covered hair along with what the temperature is going to be on the most traveled route ( Feels like ) . Intuitive Like Google Smart Cards.

Subject: [Ubuntu-phone] [Design] Design weekly

Hello everyone! Sorry we are a bit late with last weeks update.

Another busy week on all fronts from the SDK Days to designing our ritual apps key journeys - we were looking at the clock (blog post immenent!) and the weather app (still sketching!).

Visual design has also kicked off, so we are having a look at styles across the board.

We posted an explanation of the navigation pattern on our blog too, so have a look if you are designing your applications basic flow between screens and content types.

As usual, feel free to ask us anything about the App Design Guides or the core utility designs on this mailing list and on the ubuntu-touch IRC channel.

Hope you all had a great weekend,

Till next time,

Canonical Design Team.
