Re: Addressing the lack of Trademark License for YouTube, Twitter and Facebook Core Apps

So I got a response from Canonical Ltd Senior Counsel (Katherine
Ollerhead) and had provided her the link to this mailing list and here
is what she said:

Hi Benjamin

Facebook, Twittter and YouTube all have strict rules about how you can
use their name and branding.

I would suggest that you review the brand guidelines for these
companies. (They are all freely available on their websites.)

You will discover that some use is permitted without consent, while
other use will be denied or require explicit consent. As you note, you
need to avoid implying any endorsement or partnership.

Please let me know if you need help identifying the correct guidelines.
