It's good news, Jonathan, because custom toasts in apps really
sucks... Forgive me, Aleksandar :)))

Ubuntu for phones will have notify-OSD down the line, so no custom
toasts needed.

Looks very nice!
I hope your Toast.qml will be included in the ubuntu-sdk.
Displaying toasts (like in android) is a very necessary
functionality, and I had to implement by myself it, too.

Hello everyone.
I am Aleksandar Jovanov and I have been working on a
stocks application for Ubuntu Touch for a while and I
would like to present it to you today.
The application is mostly finished, only lacking auto
updating quotes and options to disable some things.
Well, without much further ado here is the command to
download the code.
bzr branchlp:~ajovanov93/+junk/stocks-qml
As usual qmake && make will build everything
The application can be launched like ./stocks and there
is make install support.
I know that some names are truncated but that is a
problem originating from Yahoo Finance APIs. (I am not
sure if I should fix it or wait for yahoo :))
The application uses YQL btw, so if that is what you
need, feel free to copy the code.
