Maybe you can try to use the quantal android base while using the raring
rootfs

Hello,
I'm trying to load the dhd.ko module to enable wifi on the galaxy tab 10.1
wifi. (p4wifi)
when I run:
insmod /system/lib/modules/dhd.ko
firmware_path=/system/etc/wifi/bcm4330_sta.bin
nvram_path=/system/etc/wifi/nvram_net.txt
I get the error message:
*"Error: could not insert module /system/lib/modules/dhd.ko: Invalid module
format"*
and syslog tells me:
*dhd: version magic '3.1.10-cyanogenmod+ SMP preempt mod_unload ARMv7 '
should be '3.1.10-ge952e01-dirty SMP preempt mod_unload ARMv7'*
so the kernel is not the right version... I'm currently using the raring
preinstalled ubuntu touch image. There were no such problems when I was
using the quantal image and I was able to load dhd.ko without any issues.
any help or pointers to fix this?
thanks,
