Last week we had another round of Core Apps Hack Days. In the past
we've used these as a means to focus attention on a set of critical
bugs for release, as well as bitesize bugs for new developers.

This time around there's been a lot of focus on bug fixing (as you'll
see below) and polish. There is of course still more work to do, and
we welcome more testing, bug reports and code contributions!
