9am I press the power button and the screen blanks off.

10am I press the power button again and the screen redisplays the 900am
time.

After a minute, the screen is finally refreshed and the time is finally
updated with the current 10am time.

This incorrect time for that entire minute of delay is extremely
annoying and especially when your work involves looking at the time
frequently within an hour.
