Re: [Ubuntu-Desktop-Next] Not launching on MSI WIND u100 - Intel GMA 950 +Intell Atom n280

Hi,
Looks like you might be conflating what we called Xmir with what we call
Unity8-desktop session. I think you're wanting to use
unity8-desktop-session-mir.

Here are some links that might be good to read
http://www.olli-ries.com/doing-more-with-your-unity8-preview-session-in-ubuntu-14-04/
http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2014/02/unity-8-desktop-preview-session-14-04

so a couple of things, depending what version you might be on...there was a
recent bug at one point for "guest" not working (i believe fixed now). easy
to create a second user to experiment.

also, i know it wasn't obvious to me the very first time, but when logging
in you simply need to click on the ubuntu circle-of-friends icon to get the
unity8 prompt on the greeter (that's a lot of words, best just to watch
first seconds of this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ULCY8thyE8 :)
