This email is meant to give a heads up on an upcoming change in the 
thumbnailer image provider component. It is available by importing the 
thumbnailer module but due to various circumstances has also been 
exposed via the basic components. This turned out to confuse Qt's Qml 
engine so we are removing the thumbnailer from core components soon.

How does this affect you?

If your qml app is not using thumbnailer, not in any way.

If it is using thumbnailer, make sure that it imports it explicitly with 
"import Ubuntu.thumbnailer 0.1". This change can be done immediately and 
should not cause any issues.
