while this was true for images that are already sitting on nusakan (the
build machine) it does not import any new ones at all anymore
http://paste.ubuntu.com/8525648/ has the output of a -vvvvc run i just
did ... 

we have new rootfses for utopic and rtm from the nightly builds but
sadly they can not be imported and processed by system-image now.
