Hi,
I was the one who encountered a similar problem although I have the RTM image. Mine is a bit different because only scopes from the store are missing and I can't even search them. Only re-installing or updating can make them show again temporarily. Rebooting makes them disappear again. I've already logged a bug for this. Please refer on the link below. Thanks.

Someone else, who I was talking to on Google Plus a few days ago, actually had the same issue. Therefore, I'd recommend you to file a bug report.

I updated to latest vidid build and tried to add favorite scopes. First I clicked music and video scope "star" button and they disappeared from the screen. The I tried to go to the scopes and add new ones but no scopes are shown anymore.
