Hi Nikos,

 Here's a work in progress guide I've been writing about creating
keyboard layouts, it's still in a pretty early state but there should be
some useful information there: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KeyboardLayouts

 As David suggested you'll do well to look at his merge request for an
example of everything that needs to be done (some things aren't covered
in the guide yet).
