There is no auto-unlock feature, the screen just powers on and you must
be causing touch events that result in a reply being sent.
Below is a bug that tracks this issue, in the mean time if you enable a
passcode lock, with bad luck the worst that will happen you'll get
locked out of your phone for 5 mins if you manage to butt-type the wrong
pass code multiple times.
