Re: owncloud

Sorry, life got busy. Was travelling in Indonesia, and then was flat out with work (out of town) this past week. Will try and get to it this week. Thanks for the reminder.

Thats great if I move contacts and calendars into owncloud how do I add them on Ubuntu touch I just added the livid sources list to install the opencloud as they are available in that and didn't switch back because upgrade kills the install so get all the devel packages ;)

Yep, all my calendars (multiple) and contacts are on owncloud - I only use Google for g+. Am syncing them through syncevolution. It's already installed. Never thought of the owncloud ppa - have always manually installed packages in 14.09. What do you install? owncloudcmd is the only one I use.

Yes I have nexus 7 which is vivid syncing my.local and did documents and pictutes which works fine but added my nexus 7 which was 14.9 rtm which owncloud is in the yet in apt anyway so added a fresh vivid image and setup own cloud fine put the scripts in and the sync works and copies the documents music and photos Even though its doing.local no changes are happening for some reason on my apps its a bit odd I guess ill figure it out!
The changes happen on my laptop and nexus 7 but not on the nexus 5!!
Ill take a further look tonorrow if I can fix it ill get the owncloud script I made on a cron as I dint think it will automatically detect the changes like the laptop I'm thinking but I'm a stepping stone away from a 3 way sync!!

Yep, mine is working - what's your setup? No symlinks on phone, it syncs to the Nexus folder on my owncloud. Nexus folder is downloaded to my laptop, then I symlink the folders relevant in ~/.local on my laptop. Make sense?
