Not official supported but there is the possibility to flash your device
at your own and at your own risk. There is a developer channel
vivid-proposed out there.

Infos:

1. A good developer site:
https://developer.ubuntu.com/en/start/ubuntu-for-devices/installing-ubuntu-for-devices/#androiddevmode

2. The German wiki with the commands and maybe translated by
http://translate.google.de/ but don't try to translate the commands itself!
http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Ubuntu_Touch_Installieren

I have some more Information in the links down in the German posting there:
http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/ubuntu-touch-plauder-thread/79/#post-7495258
Especially this one:
http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/ubuntu-touch-plauder-thread/66/#post-7443118

So the correct usable command is:
ubuntu-device-flash -v touch --channel=ubuntu-touch/vivid-proposed

W A R N I N G: Use NO bootstap (or wipe) option then your data on your
data partition will be saved! But backup is recommended! Maybe the image
doesn't boot in every version so inform you about recovery mode and
fastboot too!

Normally you don't need really more information than this command but if
there are questions or wanted more details on risk and so on then you
can look to the links. But in preparation for this you need a Ubuntu
system or live system from it and:

1. Install the command:
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-device-flash

2. Activate developer mode in your system settings under "infos about
this device" on the phone. Unlock your screen before the flashing
command! After download of around 400 MB it will take about 10 minutes
and needs 2 reboots.

It's a nice channel, I use it at every day usage.

Greetings, lgd (Benno-007 from the ubuntuusers.de community)
