Message #13234
GPS precision is awful
Yesterday I tried the GPS on my BQ Aquarius 4.5 again in the field, on a
place where I had no WIFI signal and which is offroad. According to
Sensor Status the accuracy was 3-5km. This was firmed by the Google Maps
App and the OSM App which positioned me on the complete opposite side of
the valley.
Indeed it was a bad location - the north side of a hill - but my Garmin
GPS had at least a precision of 15m and for the phone I would expect a
value smaller than 150m.
Does anybody else have this problem or is there even a fix for it? Or is
there something wrong with my device?
