Hello mrl586,
1. do not top post;
2. do not ask me, but the list (cc'ed)
3. ofc, you can use the terminal-app and set/edit whatever value you want
into the file /etc/resolv.conf; but if DHCP is not working you should
blame your mobile provider or the manager of the Wifi AP
