I would like to have the

The issue here, is not that it is suspended, but that it is not resumed
when the terminal is resumed (you can manually run 'fg'). This
bug has been
reported a couple of times against the terminal app, but has yet to be
fixed.
I know about the fg command and tried it a few times. It brings the session
to life again, but any cmd you then type is echoed twice like this:
$ ssh localhost
$
now swipe away and come back
stopped ssh localhost
fg
ssh localhost
$ echo foo
echo foo
foo
$
attached a screen, thanks
