Hello everyone,

Today was a more lively day in the landing world. We had a new Unity8,
unity-scopes-click and pay-service - mostly with bug fixes this time. We
also soft-reverted the libusermetrics landing from yesterday as it
introduced an issue (as mentioned in the previous daily e-mail). There
already is a fix for the regression (in the Unity8 code for now), but
since the closest ETA of it landing is tomorrow we decided that we will
revert and re-release once the fix is out.

Today we also had a few ubuntu-touch seed changes made, most for our
convergence work, others for bug-fixes. Nothing to be worried about anyway.

Also, investigation of the various phone slowness issues continues. QA
engineers, with coordination with developers, continue to search and
fill in bugs for each single issue they notice - it looks like the
overall problem is a combination of many many smaller problems. Not sure
if all of those can be resolved by OTA-7 - fingers crossed.
