we need to (and are, in snappy) grow mechanisms for de-duplication to
avoid this. there are plenty of ways to achieve this like having the app
launcher bind mount or link the files into the app space if a file is
unchanged, have a system service that manages duplicated files and
provides them in a secure way to different apps, or have a filesystem
extension that allows this on a lower level etc etc ...

the current situation is definitely not perfect, but that doesnt mean we
need to drop the improved security, there are many ways to fry a fish ;)
