Message #15811
New CI Train "search by siloname" feature
Hello,
As requested by a couple people, the train now allows to search and
link by siloname.
If you notice at the top of https://requests.ci-train.ubuntu.com/
there are now two buttons next to the search box. The button labelled
"Requests" performs a full-text search on all request fields, and
includes landed/abandoned requests. The button labelled "Siloname"
searches only silonames, and hides landed/abandoned requests.
The siloname search is a substring search, so currently the 3 digit
number of the silo is all you need to enter in order to be unique,
however if RTM ever comes back to life you'll need to enter the full
siloname "ubuntu/landing-NNN" to guarantee uniqueness.
This also comes with a new URL for accessing requests by silos, so eg
you can bookmark and share around links like this:
https://requests.ci-train.ubuntu.com/#/silo/001 (shorthand)
https://requests.ci-train.ubuntu.com/#/silo/ubuntu/landing-042
But just keep in mind the request will disappear from those pages when
the silo lands/abandons, so if you're looking for a request
"permalink" you really need to be using the request id, which is this
URL:
https://requests.ci-train.ubuntu.com/#/ticket/7
