Message #16066
Landing team 06.10.15
Hello everyone,
Today we have soft-reverted the buteo sync packages from the overlay
PPA. There are many specific edge-cases that were not easily testable
thoroughly before landing the silo, which seem to be regressing with
this feature enabled. The developers will re-attempt landing it again
for OTA-8 soon.
Also, the UITK regression for the headers in system-settings has a fix
staged on the train right now and should soon land.
Besides that there was a lot of other bugfix landings today: a new
webbrowser-app, network-manager, media-hub and oxide. Many memory leaks
have been fixed and, additionally, the webbrowser now runs apparmor
confined.
Today is also the final freeze deadline. Tomorrow straight in the
morning we close all OTA-7 landings, perform a snapshot and build our
first release candidate. We hope to have QA starting testing tomorrow.
