You may very well be correct, I wont argue that. I just think there could
be a fancy software workaround for the next year or two until wireless
becomes enough of a thing to allow that to happen. Besides, there is
already enough issues for the Ubuntu team to work on (bluetooth, GPS, etc),
that connecting external displays for non-target hardware (nexus 4,7,10)
will be a low priority. I'd like to see a community workaround for a short
term fix. I'm no programmer (although I'm rather good with bash scripting),
but I think it is doable.
